ARTICLE 3: Use

The purpose of these Conditions of Services is to define the contractual relations between the PROVIDER and the users of the Site allowing the recovery of an existing ETA authorisation or to obtain a new one. The use of this site implies, before any action, the CLIENT’s unreserved acceptance of these General Conditions (the technical specificities of this site mean that the CLIENT cannot place an order without first having accepted these conditions of use and services). These General Conditions shall prevail over any other general or special conditions not expressly approved by the PROVIDER.

ARTICLE 4: Access to services

The www.eta-official.co.uk website is accessible free of charge anywhere to any User with access to the Internet. All costs incurred by the User to access the service (hardware, software, Internet connection, etc.) are at his expense.

The travel authorization does not guarantee you access to CANADA. It is essential to your travel, but only the immigration officer at the border crossing will have the authority to grant you access to CANADA or not. The applicant and client who wishes to use the online service of the  www.eta-official.co.uk  website for the purpose of requesting a new ETA authorization, or the recovery of an existing one, must do so:

A web page will open with the following summary: All the data entered by the applicant and client on the form so that they can verify its accuracy. The essential characteristics of the requested service and the order of one or more ETA with details of the price of the corresponding service in accordance with the provisions of Article L 221-14 of the Consumer Code. The requester and customer will then be asked to confirm his Order by clicking on the tab: « Confirm my order and continue » After confirming his order, the CLIENT will be taken to a « Payment Information » page inviting him to click on the « Pay my request (Order with obligation to pay) » button – the CLIENT will then be redirected to the site of the payment partner of the service provider allowing him to enter his bank details and then to validate this information. In the case of a request for recovery of an existing AVE authorisation, no payment will be requested if the ETA authorisation could not be found by the service provider. In all cases, after payment, the PROVIDER will confirm by e-mail the recorded order, summarising its essential characteristics and the details of the price of the service(s). These General Terms and Conditions will also be attached to this confirmation email as a PDF file. This email will contain: – a link allowing the CLIENT to download his authorization in PDF format as well as the Advice Guide « Travelling to Canada » in PDF format. – The ETA authorization issued as an attachment in PDF format. – The present general terms and conditions of services as an attachment in PDF format The www.eta-official.co.uk website uses all the means at its disposal to ensure quality access to its services. The obligation being of means, the site does not commit itself to achieve this result. Any event due to a case of force majeure resulting in a malfunction of the network or server does not engage the responsibility of the www.eta-official.co.uk website. Access to the services of the www.eta-official.co.uk website may at any time be interrupted, suspended, modified without notice for maintenance or any other case. The User undertakes not to claim any compensation following the interruption, suspension or modification of this contract. In case of refusal of travel authorization and in this case only, www.eta-official.co.uk will reimburse you all the advanced fees. Travel authorization does not guarantee you access to Canada. It is essential for your travel, but only the immigration officer at the border post will have the ability to grant you or not access to Canada.

ARTICLE 10: Liability and force majeure
